DECONSTRUCTION

This project was initiated by one of my foundation year tutors, he set us a task of deconstructing our favourite artwork, each step of the deconstruction we were to make a different 
decision. I took a painting that was on a cardboard box with acrylic and ink, and cut it into pieces, then stage by stage reassembled the pieces into a three-dimensional sculpture. 
This sculpture was then attached to another cardboard sheet which was painted to match. the sculpture was then placed back onto the wall. This piece had converted from an 
abstract painting into a sculpture, and ended up as a three-dimensional wall painting that protruded out the wall in a very animalistic way.
